Villa Igiea, a Rocco Forte Hotel

Palermo, Sicily

Located at the foot of Mount Pellegrino, overlooking the azure waters of the Gulf of Palermo, stands Villa Igiea, a historical, elegant hotel. Postponed from its Summer 2020 scheduled opening, Palmero’s newest top hotel is now set to officially open its doors May 1, 2021. I was supposed to visit last June, and can’t wait to finally visit!

Airelles Le Grand Controle

Versailles, France

Set within the grounds of the iconic Château de Versailles with views over the Orangerie, the Pièce d’Eau des Suisses and The Palace, Le Grand Contrôle will be the only hotel of its kind in the world. Guests will be able to retrace the footsteps of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette unencumbered, with exclusive experiences in The Palace and grounds. A much anticipated addition to the limited luxury Iceland hotel scene - The Reykjavik EDITION is set to open in a prime location within the downtown area of the city in summer 2021. This is one of seven new EDITION hotels set up open in 2021 and we cannot wait!
